BARODA, Mich. -- The Berrien County Road Department announced on Wednesday plans to extend the life and operation of the Big Feather Drain, which requires a bridge on Hollywood Road to be replaced. 

Starting Feb. 24, Hollywood Road between Linco and Hinchman Roads will be closed until around the end of May to allow crews to replace the bridge, which the road department says will ensure continued roadway use and safety for the traveling public.

Hollywood Road will be closed to thru traffic during the entirety of the project.

The recommended detour route is taking Linco Road to Lincoln Avenue to Hinchman Road.
