SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- New businesses are establishing themselves in downtown South Bend, with the city's Riverfront liquor license holding a meeting on Friday for the Mexican restaurant "La Esperanza" and a new jazz lounge named "The Bend".
La Esperanza has officially been approved to move from its current location on Ironwood Drive over to South Lafayette Boulevard, where they will open in the Ivy at Berlin Place, right outside Four Winds Field.
The Bend is planning on opening at South Niles Avenue next to Howard Park.
