MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The River Bend Quilt Guild announced their 21st Annual Quilt Show will open at the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Library beginning on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The show continues Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

River Bend Quilt Guild is in its 40th year and invites community members to come see the diverse quilts at this free show, where you can vote for your favorites.

The guild also makes Comfort Quilts for people in need, and recently donated 80 quilts to Hope Ministries, Casie Center, Hannah’s House, Cardinal Nursing Home, St. Paul’s Retirement, and Memorial Hospital Pediatric Unit.

Guild officials said in the past, they've made quilts for the Maui fire and the Carolina flood victims.

At the annual Quilt Show they make a quilt to donate to a non-profit organization.
