ST. JOSEPH CO., Ind. -- A local veteran who wasn't allowed to vote in the May Primary because he had a gun won't be seeking a special prosecution.
It's an update to a story we first broke last month.
On Monday, Clay Edinger's lawyer filed paperwork to dismiss the request, since the St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office showed that it was not involved in the decision to keep Edinger from voting.
But the case is far from over.
ABC 57 checked with Edinger's lawyers who said he plans to meet with Prosecutor Mike Dvorak to talk about his client's rights.
