Rep. Christy Stutzman honors Boys and Girls Clubs of Elkhart County

Indiana Representative Christy Stutzman, R-Middlebury, honored the Boys and Girls Clubs of Elkhart County for the group's commitment to serving youth in the community since 1956.

Rep. Stutzman honored the organization on Tuesday at the statehouse in Indianapolis.

“The Boys and Girls Clubs pursue outside the box approaches with the hope to set every child on the right path for their best future,” Stutzman said. “Everything they do is centered on empowering the youth of Elkhart County to reach their full potential.”

Stutzman said one of the group's successful programs is their partnership with Ivy Tech Community College to help students in grades 8 -12 explore their interests and a future path to higher education, vocational training or full-time work.
