Rain showers remain possible through the evening, and as temperatures drop, snow and mix will become more widespread across Berrien, Cass, St. Joseph counties in Michigan, and LaPorte, St. Joseph and Elkhart counties in Indiana. Expect heaviest snow in these areas after 8 PM through the overnight hours. Travel may be difficult due to potential low visibility. Heaviest accumulation of 1-3” will be in central and northern Berrien and Cass counties. Around 1” is likely in the rest of Berrien, Cass and St. Joseph, MI. Less than 1” is possible along the state line, including South Bend and Elkhart areas.
