CHICAGO -- The NATO Summit kicks off in Chicago this coming weekend and protesters are already checking in at area hotels across the city.
They're going to make their voices heard during the two-day meeting. One of the protesters says NATO has cost more than a million lives and has created more than 10 million refugees.
"It's outdated,” said Natalie Solidarity. “It was created to stop the Cold War, it should be disbanded."
"We like our taxes to be used to save lives, not take lives,” said Malik Mujahid.
The protests are planned to be peaceful. They'll plead with world leaders to end wars that are fought in their names.
