Police warn of slick roads, several slide-offs on U.S. 20 Bypass and S.R. 2

St. Joseph County Police Department

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police Department reports officers are currently responding to several crashes and slide-offs on the U.S. Bypass and S.R. 2.

Police say a semi-truck with trailer was traveling west on the bypass when it slid off the Mayflower Road exit ramp and into a ditch.

No injuries were reported in that incident.

Near the same area, police say a utility truck rolled over in the westbound lanes. No injuries were reported in this crash either.

Police say both east and westbound lanes remain slick Tuesday morning.

Authorities add that S.R. 2 and Willow remain an issue. Police say there were a few slide-offs and crashes due to slick roads and zero visibility from blowing snow.
