LA CROSSE, Wis.—A police officer removed a peanut butter jar from a raccoon’s head on Friday morning.
The La Crosse Police Department said in a post to Facebook that Officer Adam Lange was sent to the area near Rose and Monitor streets to monitor a raccoon with a jar on its head.
Officer Lange was able to free the animal, according to the post.
The department also said that this event comes after the same officer was sent to catch an iguana on August 2, which he successfully did.
