Police investigating shooting at Red Roof Inn

ELKHART, Ind.-- Elkhart County Police are investigating a shooting at the Red Roof Inn, located on Cassopolis Street in Elkhart.

Officials confirm that there were reports of a shooting at around 11:30 p.m. on Friday.

Both a man and a woman were found in the hotel suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims, who are in their early 20's, were taken to the hospital.

No arrests have been made in the incident.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
