Fire attacks The Mill apartment complex Wednesday morning
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A woman has been arrested in connection with a homicide investigation in St. Joseph County.
At 8 p.m. Tuesday, the St. Joseph County Police Department was called to a home in the 52000 block of Laurel Road for a welfare check.
Inside the residence, officers found the body of a man with apparent gunshot wounds, reports said.
Medical assistance was called in but the man, identified as 66-year-old Geoff R. Delusignan, was pronounced dead on scene.
Delusignan lived at the Laurel Road residence.
Shortly after midnight Wednesday morning, detectives arrested 63-year-old Rebecca S. Powell on a preliminary murder charge.
Powell also lives at the Laurel Road home.
This is an ongoing investigation.
