Hit-and-run in South Bend has left one dead, suspect still not found

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The St. Joseph County FACT team is investigating a hit-and-run between a bike and a vehicle that resulted in the death of the cyclist.
At approximately 8:08 p.m., a pedestrian on a bike was hit by a vehicle.
This happened at Edison Road and Helmen Drive in South Bend.
The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital and died at the hospital.
The victim has yet to be identified.
Investigators are searching for a red Hyundai with right front damage.
