Police investigating fatal single-vehicle crash in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, Mich. --- The Cass County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal, single-vehicle crash. It happened Saturday on M-60 near Timberlane Dr. around 4:02 p.m.
The investigation shows that 77-year-old Roger Wyman, of Three Rivers, drove off the roadway and struck a tree, police said. The car overturned and Wyman was ejected from the vehicle.
He died from his injuries at the scene.
A passenger in the vehicle was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police said Wyman was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The passenger was wearing a seatbelt at the time.
Airbags deployed in the vehicle.
Neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor in the crash, police said.
The incident is under investigation.
