Pink fire truck supports a good cause

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- A very special fire truck stopped by ABC 57 studios in South Bend.

A pink fire truck, loaded with names of cancer survivors, and is driven by The Clay Fire Department.

Friday, it delivered flowers to people either fighting cancer or people who are survivors.

It's part of an annual event done at the end of March.

Supporters said the flower deliveries make a world of difference.

Susan VanDusen, one of the people helping with the deliveries said, "It's a very brightening very rewarding.  at first they don understand, but once they do it brightens their day and it is just fantastic!"

The fire truck visits cancer survivor victims by request, all you have to do is contact The Clay Fire Department.
