Pet Refuge invites public to learn about volunteer opportunities Saturday
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend non-profit Pet Refuge has invited the public to stop by on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to learn about volunteer opportunities.
Officials say they have daily morning and evening shifts available where you'd take care of the cats and the dogs.
Specifically, the non-profit mentions they're in critical need of weekday morning assistance for their dogs.
If you decide to volunteer for the morning, your arrival time would be 8 a.m.
Volunteers will work with a team caring for the dogs.
Officials say you would also help clean, including kennel care, sweeping, and mopping.
Volunteers will also help with food prep, dishwashing, and laundry.
