Paving begins Friday on Niles Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard

ABC 57 SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend announced paving is set to start on sections of Niles Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard.
The two streets will be milled and resurfaced.
Specifically, this will include Jefferson Boulevard from Niles Avenue to St. Peter Street and Niles Avenue from Howard Street to LaSalle Avenue.
City officials say both streets will remain open during paving but will be restricted in the construction zone.
Work is expected to be completed by end of Oct. 15, weather permitting.
