Illinois man faces drug charges after police find fentanyl during traffic stop

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana State Police reports troopers patrolling the Indiana Toll Road made a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle in La Porte County on Tuesday.
Authorities say the troopers detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
A search was subsequently conducted, which led to the discovery of 50 grams of suspected fentanyl concealed in the driver’s pants.
The driver, identified as 25-year-old Raekwon A. Riley of Bolingbroook, Ill., was arrested and taken to the La Porte County Jail.
Riley is preliminarily charged with Dealing of Controlled Substance, a Level 2 Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance, a Level 4 Felony, and Possession of Marijuana, a Class B Misdemeanor.
