Pastor dies after his wife accidentally drives over him

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. -- An Indiana pastor died after his wife accidentally ran over him.

The married couple was picking up food at a community food bank in Fort Wayne to distribute at their church.

The pastor was directing his wife to a parking spot when she backed over him.

Workers used a fork lift to try save him, but it was too late.

"Quick thinking employees that were able to use that forklift removed that vehicle from on top of our victim to give him a chance to fight... to give him a chance to fight unfortunately he did succumb to his injuries," Raquel Foster said.

This is the 24th traffic-related fatality this year for that community.
