NORTH LIBERTY, Ind. -- Clouds and showers will begin scattering across Michiana this afternoon during many of the parades.
While we started the day dry, many forecast models are hinting at light to moderate rain showers spreading across Michiana after 1p or so.
Thankfully, the thunderstorm risk looks low and most of this activity will stay light between 1p and 7p.
This will be a nuisance this afternoon during the many parades across Michiana and any outdoor grilling you may have planned.
However, showers will likely exit the region by dinner or shortly after and skies will actually clear right in time for the fireworks this evening!
The temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s during the afternoon before sliding into the mid 70s around dusk through midnight for fireworks.
It will stay muggy all day though, so make sure to bring the bug spray as the bugs likely will be active this evening!
