Over 20 shots fired at weekend party, police seek information regarding suspects
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police Department reports officers responded to a residence in the 52000 block of Grape Road around 1 a.m. Saturday regarding over 20 shots fired.
Officers arrived and said they witnessed several juveniles running from the area, while several more stayed on scene.
In video captured by a camera at the residence, you can see a group of people running while one person fires a weapon.
If you have any information on the identity of the suspect pictured above, you're asked to contact the police.
Police believe at least 50 people were at this party.
Authorities say there are confirmed injuries from a fight at the party, but no one was shot that they know of at this time.
Police believe there were at least two shooters.

Authorities say the incident occurred at a rental property.
Police say this is a growing trend where homes are booked for a single night and used to host large gatherings. They add some of these events have led to criminal activity, similar to this case.
Rental property owners in St. Joseph County are urged to follow these precautions:
- Install exterior security cameras to monitor activity
- Vet renters thoroughly before confirming bookings
- Be cautious of one-night rentals
- Notify nearby neighbors so they can help watch the property
- Report any suspicious large gatherings to law enforcement
