BRISTOL, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Historical Museum announced the opening of a new exhibition, Our Waters: Past, Present, Future, an exploration of the power and beauty of one of our region’s abundant yet fragile resources.

A special opening event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Visitors can learn about the Our Waters project from some of the staff involved, tour the exhibition, and enjoy light refreshments.

The event is free to the public.

“We hope you will join us throughout 2026 as we celebrate Elkhart County’s environment to look back with attention to the past and forward with hope for the future,” shares Julie Parke, Museum Administrator.
