SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- UPDATE: South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit's investigation has led to the arrest of 48-year-old Kenneth Satterlee of Canton, Ga. on the preliminary charge of Aggravated Battery.
Satterlee is being held at the St. Joseph County Jail, where he awaits a formal charging from the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office.
ORIGINAL STORY: One person was sent to the hospital in a shooting on the bypass.
South Bend Police were called to St. Joseph Valley Parkway and Brick Road around 9 p.m. Sunday.
A shooting victim was later located on the U.S. 20 bypass east of Ironwood Drive.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries with two people detained in connection to the shooting.
Police believe from early evidence that the shooting may have stemmed from road rage.
