One person sent to the hospital after a crash

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Elkhart County police say they arrived to a crash on SR 119 at 1:28 p.m. on Thursday for a crash involving three vehicles that sent one of the drivers to the hospital.

Police reported that a driver failed to slow down before rear ending another vehicle that was attempting to turn left at an intersection from SR 119 onto CR 15.

The front vehicle was struck again after being pushed into the path of another vehicle that was traveling the opposite direction on SR 119 at the intersection, police say.

The driver of the vehicle that was hit twice was sent to Goshen General Hospital for injuries that are not life threatening, police say.

The drivers of the other two vehicles were treated at the scene.
