LAGRANGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Deputies of the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Dailey Rd and Beeson St. in LaGrange Township, Cass County Michigan on Saturday afternoon.

The investigation showed that at approximately 12:48 p.m., a vehicle driven by Cody Cox, 25, from Dowagiac, Michigan was eastbound on Beeson St. when he disregarded the stop sign, hitting a northbound vehicle driven by William Murphy, 53, from Pierceton, Indiana.

Murphy's passenger, Theresa Richreek, 63 years old from Pierceton, Indiana, was transported by emergency services to Lakeland Niles Hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
