Obama weighs in on Romney's VP pick at Chicago fundraiser

At a fundraiser in Chicago, President Obama weighed in on Mitt Romney's running mate choice.

The president congratulated the Wisconsin congressman.

"I welcome him to the race," Obama said. "Congressman Ryan is a decent man. He is a family man and an articulate spokesman for Governor Romney's vision. But it's a vision that I fundamentally disagree with."

President Obama is in Chicago to raise money for his re-election campaign.
