SOUTH BEND, Ind -- Men's basketball earns overtime win against Georgia Tech.
The Irish put an end to their three-game losing streak and beat Georgia Tech 73-72 to gain their first ACC conference win of the season.
The matchup was a nailbiter but hopefully gives the Irish some confidence traveling to play Syracuse for the second time this season.
Before the matchup against the Yellow Jackets, Head Coach Mike Brey said that if they were to win the matchup Tuesday night, that it could feel like more than one win.
"Can we count that more than one dive was great for that group. We answered and so neat group of kids, man, they keep trying they've been they've seen it all. I think it helps us it really does. And, you know, it, I don't know, maybe we play better when we're completely up against the wall like that," Brey said after the game.
