SOUTH BEND, Ind. –– The Notre Dame football team was back on the gridiron Saturday. The Irish taking the field this fall just 29 days till kickoff against Florida State.
Coach Brian Kelly said he likes what he has seen from graduate transfer quarterback Jack Coan. Kelly said he expects to name a starter by the end of the team's first scrimmage.
