All lanes of the Indiana Toll Road have reopened

Multiple crashes on the Indiana Toll Road caused both the eastbound and westbound lanes to be closed between noon and 3 p.m.

The toll road was closed at mile marker 86.1 in the westbound lanes and mile marker 77 in the eastbound lanes because of multiple crashes.

The crashes involved semis and passenger vehicles.

One crash between two vehicles happened right in front of an ABC57 reporter.

Less than a mile from that accident, there was a three vehicle crash and a semi that slid off the road.

Lori Nine was rear ended on the toll road.

“He just clipped the back end of my vehicle and now we just have this mass pile-up," Nine said.

There were a dozen cars in the pile-up Nine was involved in.

Police reported few injuries in the crashes.
