Two in custody, one dead following early morning pursuit
Overnight precipitation fell mostly as rain, with just wet roads as you step out the door. There is the chance that these roads refreeze with temperatures dropping through the day, the evening commute has a chance of low visibility thanks to lake effect snow. More widespread snow likely in the afternoon hours before the lake effect kicks in, accumulation expected to be less than an inch for most of our area. Thursday likely quiet, a chance for a stray shower, but the overnight hours bring another chance for snow into Friday. Snow chances continue to climb into the weekend, with a larger system expected Saturday. This system brings significantly colder temperatures, highs in the teens this weekend, warming into next week with a chance for rain midweek.
Today: Rain switched to snow, slick roads, cooling through day. High 36.
Tonight: Lake effect snow continues. Low 21.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy, scattered snow chances. High 28.
Friday: Widespread snow, continuing to cool. High 27.
