Mobile mammograms being offered in Michiana in July

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Saint Joseph Health System Mobile Medical Unit will be offering mobile mammograms throughout July at locations in St. Joseph, Elkhart, and Marshall Counties.

The 3D mammograms will be offered at locations like Notre Dame, the County/City Building, and even the Marshall County Fair.

SJHS officials aim to make it easy and convenient for women to receive a mammogram near work or home.

Besides the 3D technology, officials say the mobile unit features a medical exam room and intake area for gathering patient information and education.

• July 1 - Sister Maura Brannick Health Center/OLOR at 326 Chapin St. in South Bend from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• July 2 - SJMG Simonton Lake at 3421 Cassopolis St. in Elkhart from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• July 10 - University of Notre Dame Football Stadium Gate D from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• July 17 - Marshall County Fair at 211 W. Walnut St. in Argos from 1 to 5 p.m.
• July 22 - County/City Building at 227 W. Jefferson Blvd. in South Bend from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• July 23 - SJMG Miami Road at 1025 Widener Ln. in South Bend from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• July 24 - Aheppa 100 Apartments at 53871 Generations Drive in South Bend from noon to 4 p.m.
• July 25 - Oak St. Health Center at 4401 W. Western Ave. in South Bend from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• July 26 - Indiana Health Center Bendix at 1010 N. Bendix in South Bend from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• July 29 - SJMG Elm Road at 60101 Bodnar Road in Mishawaka from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• July 30 - Kroger at 906 S. Merrifield Ave. in Mishawaka from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• July 31 - University of Notre Dame Football Stadium Gate D from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
