Mishawaka Police investigating three shots fired calls overnight
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka Police Department is currently investigating three separate shots fired calls that happened within hours of each other early Sunday morning.
According to police, all incidents happened outside of homes, with two houses being struck. In one of the shots fired incidents, one person was hit.
The first incident happened shortly after midnight at the 200 block of Baker Street. Mishawaka Police say a house was hit during the gunfire. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Police say the second shots fired call came in at 2:54 a.m. near the intersection of Lincoln Way East and South Kline Street. Officials said shots were fired in the area, but nothing was hit from those bullets.
The third shots fired call came in at 4:24 a.m. at the 200 block of East Donaldson Street. Mishawaka Police said shots were fired into the home and one individual inside was struck. Officials say the victim's injury is not believed to be serious.
