Mishawaka High School juniors and seniors invited to annual job, career, and college fair

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- School City of Mishawaka announced Mishawaka High School will host a job, career, and college fair on Thursday exclusively for juniors and seniors attending the high school.

The third annual fair will be held in the "Cave" from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and will have over a dozen local business representatives present in addition to colleges and non-profit agencies.

Students will have the opportunity to ask questions, and in most cases, apply for jobs and internships.

“We are excited to partner with these area businesses to not only benefit our students with paid jobs but help our area businesses fill those needed jobs," said Mishawaka High School Principal Chad Brugh.

There will also be a Financial Seminar with Everwise Credit Union on loans, insurance, banking, etc., and a Beyond the Cave seminar with Clara Bepe, Beyond the Cave Director, on career and college planning and next steps.

Mishawaka Education Foundation Executive Director Jane Wright said, “The Mishawaka Education Foundation planned this event with the MHS Administrative team and the Beyond the Cave Director’s help to enable area employers, colleges, and nonprofits to meet our MHS students and allow our students to have access to area employment and career opportunities.”
