ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Friday, November 27, 2020

Clouds will clear tonight, allowing temperatures this evening to drop through the 40s this evening Eventually lows fall to around 30 degrees overnight. The rest of the holiday weekend still looks pleasant. Highs will finish in the middle to upper 40s on Saturday with lots of sunshine. We'll be near 50 degrees on Sunday, but clouds will increase throughout the day in advance of our next weather-maker.

The picture is starting to be a little clearer in regards to our potential for some snow early next week. At this point, I think most of us will only see minor impacts. The exceptions will be twofold. First, far eastern Michiana (LaGrange/Kosciusko/St. Joseph (MI) counties) could pick up a bit more snow from the weather system. Additionally, a healthy-looking lake-effect event appears likely for portions of Monday. However, as of the current forecast, the most snow will likely fall across Lake and Porter counties. Some spots near the 421 corridor could also potentially pick up moderate-heavy lake-effect snow. The snow looks to end on Tuesday.

In general, impacts and accumulations should remain minor for most of Michiana. We'll continue to update any changes in the forecast and we'll keep you informed on air, on line and on social media.

Tonight: Mostly clear and cold. Low 30.

Tomorrow: Sunny. High 46.

Sunday: Increasing clouds and mild. High 50.

Monday: Snow showers and windy. High 36.
