Monday is a beautiful day for February standards with sunny skies and highs in the low 60s. Try to run any errands today because more active weather is in the forecast overnight tonight, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Tonight a few rain showers move into the area. It shouldn't be a wash Tuesday morning, however, with some dry time lasting through midday.
Tuesday's highs climb into the upper 60s. Showers start again by late afternoon, and we are likely to see some thunderstorms develop by evening. There is a chance we could see a storm reach severe-level in the afternoon or evening, with most likely impacts gusty winds and hail.
Temperatures drop off Wednesday, with highs in the mid 40s. It will be breezy through the day, with temperatures falling into the 30s then 20s Wednesday afternoon. Any lingering precipitation Wednesday is a rain/snow mix.
We should dry out before Thursday. Highs are near 40 Thursday. Temperatures start to warm again Friday through the weekend.
