LA PORTE, Ind. -- The Fins and Feathers fest took place on Saturday in La Porte.
Families came out and explored over 50 tables of everything bird and fish related, including real birds that attendees could hang out with.
Adam Columbus, Show Organizer, stated, "I think it has probably the biggest impact on the community over anything else that this show gives off. For one, it fills my heart so it makes my heart complete knowing that we can provide, like the absolute nicest birds that you can play with for, you know, the absolute lowest cost that you'll be able to find anywhere. And same with fish, the highest quality from those reputable breeders and keepers who are super knowledgeable and fun to talk to for, again, the lowest cost possible. So, it's a really a community involvement aspect."
The festival will take place on Sunday, March 29, for its final day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the La Porte City Fairgrounds.
