Michigan State Police troopers investigating 2-car, 2 house and 2 pedestrian crash
CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. – Two pedestrians are injured, one critically, and two horses have died in a two-vehicle crash in Marshall, Mich. on Monday night.
The crash took place on the 600 block of Briggs Road in Quincy Township around 7:30 pm, according to Michigan State Police.
A northbound car was passing two pedestrians with horses, while a southbound car allegedly crossed over the center lane. That car allegedly collided with the northbound car and the horses.
Occupants from the suspect vehicle fled from the scene and were not located by troopers.
Troopers said that one pedestrian is in critical condition following the crash. Both horses died.
Speed and alcohol are assumed to be factors in the crash, troopers said.
