Michigan psychiatrist faces criminal sexual charges

MONROE COUNTY, Mich. -- A Michigan psychiatrist faces criminal sexual charges after one his patients accused him of assault.

Holly Hord spoke out about the assault and now says she's going after him and the hospital that employed him.

She said that their doctor-patient relationship became sexual.

According to Hord, the doctor began touching her in May and that turned into intercourse.

"His behavior just made a complete switch. I trust him completely with my life to give me medicine that's supposed to make me better," Hord said.

"He held their drugs over them and would write their prescriptions and give their medications after interactions with them. It was a quid-pro-quo sexual relationship," Gregory Rohl, Hord's attorney, said.

Hord is seeking $10 million in damages.
