CHICAGO -- As the 2024 Democratic National Convention came to a close on Thursday night in Chicago, Vice President Kamala Harris accepted the Democratic Nomination for President of the United States.
Another prominent speaker at night four of the convention was Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who's speech focused on being a common American citizen.
Whitmer compared how her and Harris both had to take care of their moms and deal with their medical bills, having to take items out of their grocery cart before checking out, all to say that Harris is their advocate who will fight for people who go through these struggles on a daily basis.
