MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- ABC57's Julianne Grohowski spoke with a Michiana man who witnessed the assassination attempt on Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
Kip Tom, a farmer in Kosciusko County and former U.S. Ambassador, was feet from former President Donald Trump when he was struck in the ear with a bullet.
He had a front row seat and now says the convention has a new tone of unity.
He called for Americans to get involved in the political process and making sure people from Michiana are represented.
