Man sentenced to 20 years in death of Eric Johnson

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - A man was sentenced to 20 years in connection with the death of Eric Johnson in May 2022.
On Thursday, John Parnell Thomas pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter as part of a plea agreement.
Thomas was initially charged with murder in connection with Johnson's death.
As part of the plea agreement, Thomas's charges for two other cases were dismissed.
