Man arrested on drug charges after being found unresponsive outside McDonald's
Jonathon P. Dalton LAPAZ, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department reports deputies responded to the McDonald's at 870 S. Michigan St. around 8:22 p.m., Thursday, for reports of an unresponsive man in an SUV.
A deputy arrived to find a Chevrolet SUV with an unresponsive driver inside, later identified as 40-year-old Jonathon P. Dalton.
Authorities on scene say Dalton showed signs of a possible overdose.
The window was then broken to assist Dalton.
The deputy on scene administered Narcan, followed by another dose from the Lapaz Fire Department.
Dalton then began to breathe and regain consciousness.
Dalton was taken to Bremen Hospital, where authorities say they found suspected fentanyl hidden on his person.
He was then released from the hospital and taken to the Marshall County Jail.
Dalton is charged with Possession of Cocaine or Narcotic Drug and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Dalton's bond was set at $1,500.
