MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department reports dispatch received a 911 hang up call from the area of 10th Road and Gumwood Road around 9:46 p.m. Wednesday night.

Deputies arrived on scene and were approached by a woman who was noticeably upset.

Authorities' investigation determined the woman and a man, identified as 34-year-old Lee Motz Jr., had been in a domestic battery.

Deputies say there was also an active protection order in place against Motz.

Motz was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery and Invasion of Privacy.

Motz was given a bond of $1505.
