SOUTH BEND, Ind. – South Bend Police Department is investigating a reported shooting that happened early Saturday morning.
Police say officers were responding to a hit and run when they were approached by a man with a wound to the leg.
The 19-year-old victim approached officers near Lincolnway West and Lawndale Avenue. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
