Make-A-Wish gives 15-year-old Notre Dame Football fan an unforgettable experience

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- It's a special weekend for 15-year-old Notre Dame fan Ben Mesecar and his service dog Savannah, along with his family, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Mesecar, his parents, Lisa and Chris, and big brother, Joel, joined the ABC57 Kickoff team to discuss why he wanted the Notre Dame experience.

Mesecar has not been able to play football since being diagnosed with epilepsy.

Mesecar's Notre Dame experience is just beginning and includes a surprise with an Irish Legend.
