MACOG releases Regional Mobility Plan, seeks public input

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG) announced the release of the draft Regional Mobility Plan (RMP), which aims to coordinate public transit for people with disabilities, the elderly, and low-income residents.

Officials say this plan is designed to serve as the region’s Coordinated Public Transit - Human Services Transportation Plan and identify gaps and barriers in transportation services for the aforementioned individuals.

There will be a Public Comment Period between Monday, July 8 and Saturday, August 31, and a Virtual Open House on Tuesday, July 23, from 3 to 5 p.m. You can register for the open house here.

During this event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and provide feedback.
