Caston spoils Culver homecoming festivities with 42-7 win

CULVER, Ind. -- Nearly exactly a year after Culver upset Caston during the Comets' 2025 homecoming game, Caston marched into Cavalier Field with one goal - revenge.

That revenge came in the form of a 42 to 7 victory, fueled by an incredible performance by Caston junior quarterback Logan Mollenkopf, featuring multiple rushing touchdowns by the signal caller.

The Comets' defense was nothing to sneeze at either, forcing multiple fumbles and making life miserable for the Culver offense.

After the win, Caston head coach Chris Ulerick said "we were firing on all cylinders, offensively, we scored, and our quarterback had a great game today, anytime we can get him involved, he's a good player, and he got in space, we took advantage of their turnovers."

Caston will take on Triton next week at home, and Culver will travel to Pioneer.
