Lippert and Goshen College partner to offer language classes to employees

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Lippert and Goshen College have partnered up to offer Spanish and English classes to their employees.

It's a 16-week course that helps employees learn to communicate with one another more efficiently. Classes meet twice a week, tailored to the employee's schedule.

It’s all part of Lippert's mission to build stronger communication and inclusion across the company.

"It's just another piece of where we believe in a very collaborative environment. We believe in all of our team members, you know, contributing every day with new ideas and contributing to the overall success of the company," Lippert Director of Learning Matthew Jerlecki said.

Goshen College continues to offer English and Spanish as non-credit continuing education courses for adults in the community.

He says the class response has been great and is something they want to continue in the future.

"The sky's the limit, and as long as we have team members that are interested in doing it, we're going to do what we can. To do what we can to make sure we offer that to them," Jerlecki said.
