Notre Dame improves to 8-1 in 52-3 win over Florida State
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- It's time to place your bets. The Irish are favored by 26 points. The over/under is 42-and-a-half points but where should you put your money? ABC57's Kickoff's LeVon Whittaker takes us inside the lines.
The last game against Navy, LeVon predicted only one Riley Leonard touchdown shy of hitting a parlay, but he took the Notre Dame team total over 33 points and the Irish scored 51.
Tim Murray with Vegas Sports and Information Network set his predictions for Saturday night's match-up.
"It's funny when you look back at what this game was over the summer, Notre dame was only a four-point favorite in this game and a number of sports books now there are 26-point favorites." said Murray. "We've seen a change of 22 points in the point spread heading into this game. I was initially leaning going under Florida state's team total, but that number being so low, a couple fluky things happen, and ultimately you could get under."
Well, it’s no longer 28.5 for the Irish team total. It has jumped to 34.5 another touchdown but since the loss of NIU, Notre Dame is averaging 42 points per game.
Here’s LeVon's parlay:
+365
Riley Leonard -- anytime touchdown
Jeremiyah Love -- anytime touchdown
Jeremiyah Love -- 50+ rushing yards
Riley Leonard -- 50+ rushing yards
Notre Dame -- over 34.5 total points
