Learn about the Morris Murders at Marcellus Township Wood Memorial Library

MARCELLUS, Mich. -- The Marcellus Township Wood Memorial Library will host a presentation about the unsolved case of the Morris Murders on Wednesday, August 7, from 5 to 7 p.m.

On September 28, 1879, in Decatur, Mich., Charles Morris, Esther Morris, and their unborn child were murdered, with the case leaving many questions unanswered.

Jan Roeder and Ron Morris, the last direct descendent of this Morris line, will discuss the details of the crime.

The library is located at 205 E Main St. in Marcellus.
