LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. - Lainey Wilson may be an up-and-coming artist, but she's got some dedicated fans, despite the forecast showing thunderstorms and some dark clouds looming.
Fans were lined up for hours and hoped the weather wouldn't ruin their night.
Susan Stocker, a Lainey Wilson fan, stated, “We’re in it for the long haul. I told them already, we’re gonna be wet and muddy but until she pulls out of the parking lot, we’re sticking it out.”
The cowboy hats and boots were out in full force at the LaPorte County Fair to see ACM award winning country star, Lainey Wilson.
One group of mega fans drove up from the Indianapolis area in the morning to make sure they were first in line to snag front row seats.
The mega fans, LeAnn Smith, Susan Stocker, Ivy Frye, and Hayden Stingley stated, “When we pulled in, there was hundreds of cars already parked in the field so we were afraid we missed it and should have been here at like 5 a.m., but when we got here, it was about eight minutes or 10 minutes after 12 and we were the very first ones in line, so the girls were ecstatic about that.”
Rain or shine, they said the weather wouldn't stop them from stomping their cowboy boots to Wilson's biggest hits and watching her perform from the very front row.
